Kings Gameday: Why Fighting After a Clean Hit is Stupid

Derrick Brassard had 25 points in 31 games before he decided that he had to defend his teammate against 6'2", 210 lb. strongman James Neal.  Brassard fought for precisely .2 seconds before he dislocated his right shoulder.  He's now out for the season.  But hey, Fyodor Tyutin now knows that Brassard has his back; hopefully he pays Brassard back by carrying his groceries, because Brassard sure as fuck won't be able to do that for a while.

But hey, works out well for us.  Hey, Nash, I hear Ivanans over there has been talking shit on Ryan Malone's mom, you should totally stand up for your teammate.  (Rat laugh)

Prediction: Kings win, 4-2, but ultimately lose when Drew Doughty breaks his leg fighting Anze Kopitar after Kopitar accidentally skated into Kyle Quincey.  Goals by Frolov (x2), Brown, Lewis, and Doughty's broken leg.
