I’ve never photoshopped.

It’s one of my stupid prides (as in, “look what a fool I am — making photoshops without any Photoshop software!”). No, when I make “photoshops”, I use a different technique entirely. What laborious pride!

Sure, I know. I don’t use Photoshop either, but use similar techniques (as well as workarounds that make me seem like an idiot, naturally) in Gimp. Which has the very nice feature of being free.

I was merely using photoshop as a general verb, as that’s what ordinary people use.

Ah, gotcha. Perhaps it’s time to come up with a new verb. Not sure yet on the term, but it’d mean “to photoshop without the benefit of Photoshop”.

Maybe we could call it “Marchanting”, in honor of how sometimes Todd Marchant scores big goals without the benefit of scoring hands or offensive awareness.
