Apparently all the VoteBots had gone away to see the inauguration, but they're back!

Not really, though, just some more poll stuff on NHL.com. This time the results are completely stupid and beyond that, pointless and a waste of your and my time, I promise.

I couldn't help but notice what just may be... THE most ridiculous question I've ever seen. It almost sounds like they were running out of ideas.

Who would you ask a question of?

If you're like me, you looked at that and said, "What the fuck?"

Maybe I'm reading it out of context, but this poll question makes me want to punch NHL.com in the face. I was trying to rationalize it as "Who would you question the All-Star Game entry... of" but that makes, well, more sense, but I don't think they're asking that.

It doesn't stop there though. They have another, entirely separate poll that asks:

Who would you ask a question of?

Yes. They have two polls asking the same question. The same goddamn, stinking, lousy question. AAAGHHH! I'm going to go nuts.

What's funny, though, is that the polls have entirely different results. Here they are below:

Notice the huge lead for Ovechkin, and Iginla is a WAY back 2nd place.

Then there's the other poll:

Whoa! What happened to Ovechkin being popular? He's still #1 but with nowhere near the percentage of votes or the lead he had in the last poll.

But it's this that made me jump for joy: (click for larger view)

Oh yeah. Those missing Anaheim VoteBots have been found and have done a fantastic job on getting Niedermayer to be the player with the most improved popularity in the last 5 minutes. At this rate, he'll be well over 100% very quickly, and by the time you read this you won't even know who Ovechkin is, meaning he'll be just barely more popular than Rob Niedermayer.

Oh and Sleek... please be nice this time... my fragile heart can't take your cold hearted, harsh criticism again. I beg you!
