My Kings History
I like to believe that there are an infinite number of dimensions all playing out simultaneously and each one is slightly different, because that means there's a dimension just like this one except I'm not a Kings fan. I imagine I'm very happy in that dimension.

It could be worse
Imagine the dimension where …
… uh, hold that thought, my phone’s ringing.

Think of it this way
In another dimension you could be an Islander’s fan. Does it get much worse than that?
Well, I could be a Ducks fan, which would suck because I’d get tired of sucking all that dick. After a while.

Well I wouldn’t liken the Stanley Cup to a penis, but then again I guess after being that terrible, the Kings need to visualize the Cup as a penis to garner motivation to win it.
People who save up for a rainy day are like milk. And milk goes good with cookies, so you should have those people over for cookies.
Yes. The Isles were unstoppable in the early ’80s, and plenty of Isles fans are old enough to remember those times.
You know who are the fans I feel the most for? The ones in marginal NHL cities that probably worked hard to not only get a team in the first place, but have been supporting them fruitlessly since. Imagine if you’re a hockey fan in south Florida, or Nashville, or Phoenix. Or even worse than that, if you were a Winnipeg, Hartford, or (god help you) Quebec fan who saw their teams leave, and in the case of the Nords, immediately win a Cup in the new city. That would suck.
Got a point there
Or you could be a Toronto Maple Leafs fan, who might be old enough to remember when your team was good, but probably aren’t and so all you get are stories of when your team was good and Nik Antropov. Oh and Brian Burke, but with Brian Burke, you won’t see your high draft picks for years and years after you draft them (Bobby Ryan) and the next highest prospect you promote will be Brett Festerling. That’s going to be a fun rebuilding project.
I’m old enough to (just barely) remember the Isles’ dynasty years. In my dimension, the last 20 years did not happen.

… if in that dimension you were a Sharks fan. :).
Ever get the feeling we are on a collision course with reality?

No, then I’d just whine about different stuff. Maybe in that other dimension I play the oboe, because how can you be unhappy while playing something called an “oboe?”
The West Coast is the Best Coast.
I’m pretty sure you’d be dead in a couple alternate universes. So being a Kings fan is probably better than being dead right?

Are all of the dimensions slightly different from yours? Or is each one slightly different from the one before it, likely making, say, the billionth dimension totally unrelated to yours? The latter might make it easier to find one where you’re not a Kings fan. No telling what else might be going on in it, though.

Please God, one day can we kick the football. Or at least Lucy in the face.
