The Toughest Division in Hockey? The Pacific

Jonathan Willis at Hockey or Die! runs some numbers and concludes that the Pacific Division is (still?) the toughest division in the NHL. "What does it mean? Well, some might quibble the Ducks’ inclusion in that list, but consider this: outside of their division they are a very respectable 12-8-4. Meanwhile a team like the Capitals, vying for the Eastern Conference crown, are a comparable 16-8-6 outside their own division." H/T to Puck Daddy's 12/31 headlines.
