It's about seven minutes in, but if you've had a hankering for Hitchcock-Belfour era Stars nostalgia you're in luck: there's a classic Stars-Avs game on NHL network right as I type. NHL Network is just awesome.

I don’t get it. I have “NHL Network” on my guide but my cable service provider would want more money if I asked them for it.
It’d be great if you could trade for it by saying they could block out some channels you don’t watch, and give you the NHLN in return.
But anyway on FSN West a while back they were airing an old Kings game from the Gretzky-era, so similar idea.

I also like the NHL Network...
With the exception of their “As Seen On TV” ads – I think I’m starting to know the phone numbers by heart. A few too many erectile dysfunction ads for my taste, too.

I actually wrote something about those ads
Something fairly inspired in my insipid and scarcely updated rants blog.

Haha. I caught myself watching an entire Flames-Canadiens in the ‘89 Finals a few months back and I’m not even sure how it happened. The Network is hypnotic.
