For some reason, last night, I had a dream that since the Ducks weren't playing as well as they'd hoped, they decided to make a roster move sometime around the trade deadline. No, they didn't trade anyone, but rather moved the entire roster elsewhere - by relocating the team.
They decided to play the rest of the season with no home stadium - yeah it didn't really make sense but it sucked. I guess they would then have been called the "Nomadic Ducks"
I had decisions to make:
Do I root for the Kings now?
Do I root for them for the rest of the season and wherever they end up?
Do I even watch hockey religiously anymore?
But I had none of these answers, except for the first one, thinking about that for too long makes me want to puke.
It was awful. Funnily enough I was reasoning that this couldn't have happened. I was thinking "Didn't Samueli promise to keep them in Anaheim? Oh wait that dude is in jail or something now.... SUSAN!! No she voluntarily chose to serve the suspension with her husband... WHO CHOSE THIS? And why the hell did the Ducks just yesterday open up all this 'The Rinks' crap if they were going to leave California the next day?"
I think the moral of this story is that no matter how hard the Ducks blow their chances in the remainder of the season, it's better than having no Ducks at all.
And also, what the hell is up with Sports Club Stats today? It's like it updated, but before the Kings game last night.
