Don't cry Sleek...
I know it's a sad day in Ducks history now that they traded Pahlsson. I too am a big fan of Pahlsson, but it's starting to look like the Ducks might be pretty loaded on defense now. If and when they get Frenchie and Huskins back (assuming they sign them this offseason, as well as signing Wisniewski), I think the Ducks will be in great shape on defense. They could still even trade Pronger this offseason (or can keep him - doesn't really matter to me either way). Pahlsson will definitely be missed, but it's possible that some of the young guys might be able to step it up to be checkers for the Ducks.
BTW, who's going to be scoring all the goals now?
UPDATE: Nevermind what I said about Huskins now... looks like he was traded to San Jose...
One last thing... it's still possible for the Ducks to resign Pahlsson in the offseason since he is a UFA. All part of Bob Murray's master plan...

Thanks for the pick-me-up. I need to take a deep, deep breath before I write anything resembling a reaction, though.
You also could have titled this fanpost “Don’t Die, Sleek”.

Prediction: Ducks 3, Hawks 2. Goals by Getzlaf, Selanne, and an own goal by Pahlsson.
Prediction: Ducks 5, Kings 4 in OT. Goals by Getzlaf, Pronger x2, R. Niedermayer, and Pahlsson when he comes crashing through the ceiling on a jet pack then hits the ice and nets the game winner.
