LA Kings @ Vancouver Canucks
7:00 PST, WHY CAN'T YOU GO TO CANADA YOU SONS OF BITCHES
Kings' 4th line tonight:

Prediction: Whatever.
Go to Nucks Misconduct, where they are whipped up into a playoff frenzy. Huh, wonder what that's like.

You know, one of these years I’m going to have to draw a new cartoon. But for now here’s the one I post every year.

hilarious! but don’t think you’ll be using that too much longer … maybe soon all three Ca teams will make the playoffs … how cool would that be! :)
Ever get the feeling we are on a collision course with reality?

Like the other years, this cartoon doesn’t make sense since the Kings are the elderstatesmen and the Sharks/Ducks are relatively new. You lack of research betrays your artistic integrity.

That Kings kid is supposed to be Doughty. I don’t really know what I was doing the previous years, to tell the truth.

I think according to likely playoff matchups, the Ducks at least plan on having a lot of these “off-days”.
Probably the Sharks also, but that’s based on previous years. Speaking of which, the “Kings Bedtime” cartoon isn’t the only one I keep using year after year after year. Let’s see if the Sharks get out of their repetitive-joke disorder.

This one isn’t very good, but it’s actually the one that’s made an appearance each year.
Probably Spade is thinking of my golf course cartoon, which is much better but made its debut last year.

yea i was thinking of the golf course one…..
hehe..need to make a new one though…somthing more updated….with jumbo joe and marleu references about choking all the time in the playoffs..on top of the sharks

The game should be aired at this link. Right now they’re going to air the Flyers/Rangers game but at 7 they’ll air the Kings and Canucks.
Nobody cares about your opinion.
Prediction: Whatever.
It looks like the Kings shared your enthusiasm. I guess they just want to add to their franchise record for shut-outs. Anything worth doing, is worth doing well…. and they’re setting the bar pretty high for any future teams that want to make a run at this shutout record.
I wish I could say that they were Tanking for a pick, but we all know better…. they dont have to try. This comes naturally…. Damn it. I just wasted about 3 hours of my life. Its nights like tonight that I wish I didnt have Center Ice.
Cheers,
Matt

Not only was it a pathetic display by the Kings, but the Canucks weren’t any better. They only got there one goal after Kopitar held up Sundin’s hand with his chest. And really, they still are playing for something so they should have showed a bit more than that. So it was a horrible game all around. And I wasn’t any better, because I knew it was going to suck, and I still held off watching Survivor and the Office so I could watch this travesty.
