Okay, I knew the Ducks were going to give the Red Wings a run for their money... but this is incredible. Before the series started I thought the Ducks would have an edge early in the series as the Wings may have been a bit rusty... but we're officially in the middle of the series now. Wow!

Hard to believe there’s two Sports Report Girls out there making hockey videos — one who believes in the Ducks’ ability to play against Detroit and another who picked the Sharks to beat ’em. :)

Nice east coast bias, btw. For the record, I don’t care a lick who wins Washington-Pittsburgh. Crosby? Ovechkin? Malkin? I don’t care — they’re all overhyped easterners.

That last game where Ovi and Sidney both got hat tricks was suspect. I would not be amazed if they were told to script the first 4 games to let home teams win, but make it exciting for hockey, then play all out best of three.

I know it’s way out there, but I’m just sayin I would not be surprised.

BTW, good to see SRG comming around. That will make the transition easier when she takes over Gaywards job.

If the Ducks are ever in a position to be playing either Washington or Pittsburgh in the Cup Finals, we won’t have to worry, because we’ll have beaten much tougher teams on the road to get there. Not actually on the road, necessarily, like away games, i mean like a path. You know what I mean.
