Lucky Luc Makes the Hall
Not there was ever any doubt, but I had a sick feeling in my stomach that someone like Doug Gilmour was going to beat him out. More to come later, but for now I'll just say: Woohoo, Luc!!!

Thank God. Luc is basically the identity of this franchise to Kings fans. Brett Hull, Brian Leetch, and Steve Yzerman is a good group to be inducted into the Hall with.
Fuck you, Denis Gauthier. You suck at hockey... and life.
Somehow I’m guessing they all go in as Wings just to spite the rest of us. Even Leetch, though that makes no sense.

In Detroit’s defense, both Hull and Robitaille won the Stanley Cup with them in 2001-02. In fact, Luc had 2 more points than Yzerman did that season (in 29 more games, but so what?)
Anyway, I don’t think the NHL Hall of Fame is the same as Cooperstown, where in baseball players actually get inducted with a specific cap on their plaque.
The great thing about this class is that all four players can pretty much be identified with only one franchise: Luc with Los Angeles, Yzerman with Detroit, Leetch with NY Rangers, and Hull with St. Louis, even though he played with four other teams. But hey, Luc played with three others also.

It’s a fine HHOF class, no doubt, but it is my obligation as a Ducks blogger to remind the comment-reading world that Giguere did sweep a loaded Wings team with three of those inductee players on it.
Good times.

Congrats as well to Luc.
Even non Kings fans know what a great guy and player Luc has been. Very classy person.
A great honour for Luc...
…but probably not as great as his guest appearance on Bones. I mean, really.
