Most visceral moment? When he took a shot at Patrick Marleau in February last year. THAT WAS A HIT TO THE HEAD I CANT BELIEVE HE DID THAT!!!1

We started the countdown too early. Cue rant in 5…4…3…2…

Do I even have to say anything? Everybody in the universe knows how much I hate this guy. Everytime I see a Red Wings fan on the streets of Long Beach, I tell them how much I dislike him for turning the puck over last October, costing us a victory against the Wings. I always tell everybody that I stopped playing NHL 09 Be a Pro mode when the Devils traded for him in my fifth season. Not lying.

Gauthier sucks, is a Canadian disguised as a hockey player, and is probably only a hockey player because he was born in Montreal. Montreal-born Canadians are pretty much pre-destined to become NHL, or at least QMJHL players. I’d rather pay Preissing $5 million to play for the Kings than pay this guy $500K. I’d rather we have Cloutier come back in goal.

I hate him much more than Rudy unjustly hates Ryan Smyth. I hate him more than us Angels fans hate AJ Pierzynski… and you should know, that’s a lot. I hate him more than Wings fans love Yzerman.

2-2=4 in 65 games? The two goals I can understand because he’s a defenseman, but only 2 assists? I could do better than that in my sleep. Any NHL player can easily get 10 points in a season just by being lucky.

Gauthier had only 2 goals and 2 assists… He got 2 suspensions in February alone… worth 6 games!! He missed more games due to suspensions than he had points in. Needless to say, those suspensions were his high points of his Kings career. He helped the team more when he was off the ice, which is why I lobbied for at least a 10-game suspension for his hit on Josh Gorges. And for the record, I’ve still not seen the hit.

Can you believe this King killer was actually part of a trade for King killer Daymond Langkow? I would say that his career went downhill during his time with the Kings, like many players have, but the only year he spent with the Kings was the year where they were all about defense!
