Feb 3 against those RW

I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that most of you didn't participate in John T Meyer's "Pick my NHL team" extravaganza, but that's okay. The fans have picked, and just like in voting for the All-Stars, the Ducks fans creamed the other teams and John is now a Ducks fan. Of course the "search" began with the Ducks back in November, so we had a head start.

ANYWAY, John is coming to Anaheim (he's from South Dakota) and he's hoping to get at least 20 fans together to face the Red Wings on Feb 3. The reason for 20 fans is the discounted ticket pricing. Here's the Facebook link if you'd like to purchase one of the group tickets and attend the game.

Thats kinda what I figured too. I have season seats, but if there was enough reason for me to join the group, I might consider giving those to some other friends and joining in on the group.

I’m not good at the convincing thing, but I did hear they have alcohol at the Honda Center…I know that’s a bonus for many members of this “family”.

I think he ended up with 32 people. It’s not many, most of us are already season seat holders – so that was tricky.

But my unit at work is going, so there will be 12 of us sitting together…11 of which have seen a total of 2 games combined (and that’s only because I took them to games). It’ll be an interesting night teaching hockey!

Sounds like a good sized group! You deserve a service-to-hockey award for bringing so many first-timers. Any other BoC’ers going?

Wow, I’m so stoked for this game that I’m almost glad that I have 4 more hours of class between now and puck drop — at least it’ll keep my busy and make the time go by faster!

Maybe I’m setting myself up for disappointment, but I feel like we’ve got to win two out of these next three games. Hope you and your tribe are rewarded with a win tonight!

ME TOO! I’m nervous about getting them inside and settled without any ticketing issues, but that’s irrelevant to the game.
