PrintWhat the fuck, SBNation? I thought we were cool. In case you haven't noticed, apparently SBNation thinks that one Kings blogger just isn't good enough and has added 2 more. They can be read at Jewelsfromthecrown.com (what kind of name is that?) and they are vastly inferior to me. The two bloggers are Connie Kim and Quisp, who are a tiny Asian woman and a giant purple Kool-Aid Man, respectively. They'll be cramping my style 7 days a week and will be doing the post-game recaps and morning links, while I made them promise I could still do the gameday write-ups because it's the only thing I have left in my cold, empty existence.
This is bullshit. Now I know how Ron Burgundy felt.

Just reading the first posting on that site made me cringe. Anyone who cried when Darren Helm scored against the Kings obviously hasn’t been watching the Kings long enough. I refuse to be subjected to such commentary.

2 of the 3 mods there are pretty funny (Eric & David) and willing to put up my antics and shinnanigans. The 3rd is a “you damn kids! keep off my damn lawn during the gametime threads! go back home and play with your own Lite-Brite!” type. Also, it has recently had a large infestation of Sabremetric-loving, Depodesta-types from Dodger Thoughts©. And the other commentors are monosylabic cavemen drama queens from Silver Screen & Roll whose insights are basically limited to “Fuck Russell Martin” and “Kemp rulz.” I enjoy the witty reparte of Eric & David and some commentors, but it’s getting pretty bad over there again.

Well, that depends on whether you like ‘em with the smoky peat flavor or not. I had one on New Year’s that was like swallowing a campfire.
