Stop with the NHL 09 already? Let's get Spade NHL 11 (when it's out)

I'm tired of hearing about Spade and the fact that he only has NHL 09. Are you fellow BoC readers at all interested in pitching in to buy this guy NHL 11 when it comes out. Might as well just skip NHL 10 since the season is practically over. That'll give us roughly 6 months to collect about $60-$70 (maybe there's tax and/or shipping). I'd be willing to setup a paypal and keep everyone posted on its status and get that purchased for him when it does come out.

Do you think we could get about 60-70 readers to donate a measly $1. I think his curse-laden, grammer teacher's worst nightmare, incomprehensible posts are worth about that much.

If I get enough positive feedback here, I'd be willing to set it up.

haha…besides being a broke asshole..also holding out for a whitney-less online team..+LUbo…..

i played a little nhl 10 only difference i noticed was the “holding the guys to the boards” thang…I cant imagine what are they gonna add next?

a “head shot” button? maybe a getzlaf bark at the refs button?…

i think they should make the goalies not do the fuckin splits everytime there is a cross ice pass…..and maybe not make those sliding ice checks be so effect…so earl would suck worse than he does now…

I think they fixed the splits thing in NHL 10, not sure (haven’t played it much either) but the goalies are better in a few ways. Also fighting is cooler in NHL 10.

the only thing that could be potientally bad about nhl 11 would be no teemu…that would make me a very sad panda…and might me get nhl 10 or stick with 9 instead,,(unless wooster and pals buy my nhl 11…cuz the best nation is donation)

Let me know if you guys do that. I have a PS3, but my girlfriend has an XBox360 (greatest girlfriend…..ever). I would absolutely buy it for 360 if you guys had a team going.

I'm a little disappointed...

Well, I’m a little disappointed in the turnout here…

But at least there’s been some response. I think I might as well get this set up. Maybe if we continue to plaster the blog asking for donations, it might actually work. I probably can’t get to it until this weekend, but I’ll get it started and start with my generous donation of $1.

I’m intrigued by the PS3 Slim. Though I’ll be more intrigued if they come out with a 360 Slim (considering the PS3 Slim is still $100 more than a regular Xbox 360) as a cheaper option.

I just scored a PS3 slim and couldn’t be happier with my purchase. NHL10 is amazing on it. Also, with the upcoming Playstation Move coming out which will give it Wii-interactivity and HD Graphics, I’m confident I made the right move in buying the PS3…

Gotta disagree on fighting in NHL 10. It’s different but still horrible and dumb. I say they just switch it to something unrealistic, like Street Fighter II or something. Fireballs improve everything.

Fighting’s okay, I suppose. Online, every fight only lasts two seconds. Offline, the computer doesn’t even throw a single punch, and it still takes two minutes because he blocks like crazy

That’d be cool if they just changed NHL fighting to something like Street Fighter where you could throw fireballs and stuff like that. That would definitely be an improvement.
