Kings Gameday: I Love

-I love how hard Jarret Stoll plays.

-I love the little pauses in Mike Richards makes that lets the rest of the game fly by him.

-I love the tiny little openings that allow passes like this to get through.

-I love how Dustin Brown has already screened 2 goals and slammed home 2 others in front of the net.

-I love that Ryan Smyth fucked off back to Edmonton or Hell or wherever he went.

-I love Willie Mitchell's active, long stick.

-Wait, wha

-I love that I never notice when Rob Scuderi is on the ice.

-I love when Justin Williams feints going behind the net and then curls & peels towards the slot.

-I don't love that I've started to bunch up my upper body while keeping my legs straight when I play goal, just like Jonathan Quick. I shouldn't be imitating the moves of a guy that's younger than me.

-I do love how well Quick has been playing, though.

-I love how earnestly Dustin Penner is playing this season. He's honestly trying to play like the coaches think a big man should. It hasn't really worked for him so far but I think it'll come together for him eventually.

-I love how composed Viatcheslav Voynov is with the puck. He'll go into the corner and make 1 small poke and suddenly, he's skating out of the zone with the puck.

-I Iove how Alec Martinez looks like a Muppet.

-I love how much Simon Gagne reminds me of a guy I used to play with. We called him Slimer because the puck just seemed to ooze through people when he had it. We also called him that because he used to not take showers after games, but I digress.

-I love the fact that someday someone's going to look back at the boxscore of the Kings' last game and see that there was a goal scored by Kyle Clifford, with assists by Kevin Westgarth and Matt Greene.

-I love how fast Trevor Lewis is. He made that Clifford goal by driving to the net and he had 2 or 3 opportunities that he created with is speed. I wish he had someone that could create more goals off his speed, though.

-I don't love Ethan Moreau.

-I love Anze Kopitar.

-I fucking hate Steve Ott, Mike Ribiero and the Dallas Stars.

Prediction: Kings win, 4-1. Goals by Brown, Penner, Richardson and oh, let's say Moe.
