Sharks Gameday: Shark Wars: A New Hope

My countdown of my 82 favorite movies continues with Star Wars: A New Hope. But today is Sunday and I'm really lazy and/or busy. If only we already had a bunch of stuff somewhere on this blog connecting Star Wars and hockey is some way! That totally seems like something we would have done around here at some point!

But I guess not. Sorry everybody.

Honestly it's sort of hard to know how much I really enjoy a movie like Star Wars, anymore. I've seen it a bunch of times, but most of those viewings happened when I was a kid. I really loved it back then, of course. I still like it a lot...I think. It's just so difficult to separate what was good and enjoyable about the first Star Wars movie and what has been horrible and crappy about most everything else related to Star Wars that has happened in my adult life.

And don't get me started on Star Wars fans. Holy balls.

Knights of the Old Republic was a really good game, though. There's no denying that.

Sharks vs. Avalanche. Bring it. Use the Force, or something.

Prediction: Hey remember how cool and evil Darth Vader seemed in the original Star Wars movie? Remember how scary he was? He was basically the greatest bad guy ever for like thirty years. Now...I don't know, man. I think he might have been totally ruined - and I've never even seen any of the prequel movies!

(Oh hey I found something).
