Ryan will match Pronger’s playoff suspension total in Anaheim — Pronger certainly got a lot more done for his two games.

I really do wonder how they determine the number of games to suspend. 1 to Stoll, 2 to Ryan. Not saying 1 or 2 is correct or not, but how are they determining that one was worse than the other?
Per one of the comments here, Ryan is a first time offender as well, so wouldn’t 1 make sense?

Foot stomp got a lot of game the previous two times. The other two were way worse, but you can fuck someone up with a skate blade, so I think that’s why.

Fucking refereeing is really fucking stupid if you are going to suspend someone when the refs swallow the whistles the entire game and everything go. Of coarse shit is going to get out of hand if there are no rules. NHL has just got to state the obvious and put out published guidances on changes in the interpretation of the rules for the post-season so everyone knows what the fuck the rules are in the post-season.
What the fuck are the rules in the post-season anyway?
