Like I said previously, I don’t really see that much of a difference from twitter and SBN comments. The difference is that twitter has a wider audience (if you want) and your not stuck with any specific crowd.

Stock crashing:
As much as I want to bitch and moan about missed high-sticking calls and goals that should have been disallowed breaking game 2 wide open, I have to bitch about Todd McClellan instead. The Sharks game 2 strategy was impossibly stupid. Even to have Eager in the lineup is questionable at this point, but to double shift him in the critical time when he has proven reckless and stupid time after time in these playoffs is almost unforgivable. To pick that time, of all the possible times this season, to have your goon go out and play rough and take penalties was insane. Especially given the home-bias that the Sharks were already going to have to overcome and Vancouvers powerplay. Oh and let’s also have our least experienced fighter go out and fight one of their studs, brilliant! And for the love of God pull Niemi after 6th goal. Hey Todd, here is what a good coach would choose:
-Mayers (or anybody) replaces Eager permenantly, reputation alone now forces this
-Braun replaces Huskins, team needs offense and spark
-Play clean when games are winnable, and dirty when they aren’t(apparently not obvious)
-Let refs know when they missed blatant penalties (it’s called a make-up call)
I’m not one to complain about refs and such … complain about Eager … fuck yes! He is not allowed to play anymore during these playoffs. Not unless he is wearing the jersey of the opposing team.

The 4th line needs to contribute. Look at the sharks top three lines. Jumbo can’t be on the ice all the time. The second line is a skating infirmary and Logan is getting rocked every time he touches the puck. Same for Pavelski and his line. So what are you gonna do if you are tmac? Eager has a ring. Husky has a ring. Nemo has a ring. You don’t bench those guys.
Obviously after tonite, you bench Eager.

Mako, how about the unsportsmanlike for running into Luongo after the goal and then talking shit for like 45 seconds while standing over him? Were you ok with that one? Face it, Eager was a detriment to San Jose’s chances to win that game.
Khaaz, I was wondering about that. But it still makes the same point, he clearly boards the guy and then does not like the call.
Also San Jose, if playing “a more physical game” is the “game plan”, don’t come out and tell the media that the morning BEFORE the game. SURPRISE Van. with that strategy and if it works, see if they can adjust in time.
