A couple quick notes
1. Did not look like much of an orange-out, and
2. this game would have been mostly stress-free except for that fucking major.
Totally avoidable penalty — a brain-dead play. I was OK with giving him a second chance after he pulled the same shit in round one, and he FAILED AGAIN. He’d better not see the ice again. Period.

They do like their pom poms, though.
lame color that doesn’t fit. Nobody wants to see that much orange. It still looks louder in there with what orange people did wear.

With all do respect though to all Sharks fans here, I have to say that the copy cat Green Men and Orange Men at HP Pavilion are pathetic.
San Jose has been getting national attention for some of the most passionate fans in the game. And rightfully so. I just expect the fans to be more original, and create their own schtick.

I did have a good view of the guys last night – they weren’t all impressive to me. What I do like is the Sharks like – the one that is eating people. He ate the Wings during that series, and last night they showed him eating a green guy.

That ‘orange-out’ was a major fail. Looked totally lame from the broadcast. If you’re not going to get the enitre arena to do it, don’t do it at all. It just makes your fans look apathetic.

Wow … there is some guy over at NM who is whining that something is wrong with the Tank’s ice that somehow (magically???) makes the Sharks faster and the crowd there does something as well to energize their team. I don’t know, like somehow the fans were giving the Sharks an unfair advantage.
