-Jeff Carter's status should be updated later today; he's almost definitely out tonight and will hopefully be ready to play on Thursday.
-The Kings want the Sharks to win tomorrow night since they won the first game between themselves and the Stars.
-We want Columbus to beat Phoenix tomorrow, too.
-It could work out that whoever wins the 2-game series between the Kings & Sharks at the end of the season wins the division. It could also work out that whoever loses the 2-game series between the Kings & Sharks at the end of the season misses the playoffs.
-Jack Johnson might be named captain of the Blue Jackets if they trade Rick Nash. Never have a player and franchise been a more perfect match.
-I cant' wait for next week. Or I'm dreading it. One or the other.
Prediction: Kings win, 4-2. Goals by Richards, Richardson, Kopitar, and Kopitarson.
