BoC Gameday: Phoenix?!

This guy's confused too. (Photo by Christian Petersen/Getty Images)

Wait, Phoenix is going to win the division?!

Phoenix.

What the fuck.

The Clowe thing continues to amaze, not just because it was probably the dumbest thing I've seen a hockey player do but also the reactions to it. It's like Clowe's dumbness is spreading. No, people, Clowe shouldn't get suspended, and no, Darren Dreger, it wasn't an example of how badly Clowe wants to win. ("Say what you want about her actions, but there's no questioning Tonya Harding's desire to win!" -Darren Dreger) It was a dumb thing that a dumb person did without thinking about it. No one's going to try to do it again because no one's that dumb. The key here wasn't that Ryane Clowe exploited some loophole in the rule books; it's that he did a blatantly dumb thing and the refs somehow didn't see it because they're dumb too. Just dumb. Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb

*I've seen a guy snag a puck out of the air and throw it down the ice without thinking. That was probably the dumbest thing I'd seen before this.

Prediction: Kings, 3-2. Ryane Clowe exploits another loophole in the rule book when he eats the puck.
