The Kings: Have Jonathan Quick, a remarkably flexible goaltender just entering his prime who has posted mind-bending numbers all season. His play during the regular season garnered him a Vezina nomination and his performance has only gotten better in the playoffs. He is truly elite.
The Devils: Have a great goaltender who, although past his prime, is still putting up great numbers. You can't discount experience and that ability to step it up when it matters most and this old warhorse still has that ability.
Fortunately for the Kings, the Devils aren't going to play Johan Hedberg and will play Martin Brodeur instead. Whew!
