A bit of a rushed two-panel cartoon this morning, but no complaining -- it's summer, and it's Friday. :)

Oh, draft day -- on the one hand, the entry draft is about the most boring production the NHL annually puts on; day one especially is as slow-paced as possible. On the other hand, there is some decent possibility of blockbuster trading -- the event is worth paying some attention to. In the first round (as of this morning), the Ducks pick 6th (one hour in), the Sharks pick 17th (2 1/2 hours in), and the Kings pick 30th (basically tomorrow). Yup -- first round is slow as fuck.

Hooray! It's the most exciting boring day of the year!
