I don't know about everyone else but I have been waiting patiently for months for SB Nation Writer "LA Bandwagon" AKA "Perfidious Algorithm" AKA "TurdDAWG69" AKA "John Wallace Stevens" to post the next recap in his recap series recapping the LA Kings march through the 2013 Stanley (no asterisk/legit) Cup Playoffs.
Every time I glance over at the fanposts I have a mild panic attack because John Wallace Stevens has still not released us from this never ending agony of non-completion which forces me to break things. When I ran out of lamps, I moved to windows. When the windows were gone, I punched holes in the dry wall. I broke my body, I soiled my holy temple. When I was finally forced to burn my complete collection of Left Behind Christian Apocalyptic Fiction novels, book by tear-stained book, I knew something had to be done.
I am just a poor man with no books who lives in a windy house full of holes and bugs, but I will try to live up to the standard set forth by TurdDAWG69. (SPOILER: I can't, I failed. I learned this in Left Behind and it is something called foreshortening (sp?) I think and it is a way to make drama cheaply and with light effort while also providing some mystery).
The LA Kings came out fairly strong in game 5 I think. It was a while ago and I don't remember which series was being recapped, but they probably played with some grit and some tenderness. There was a really bad call which lead to an [OPPOSING TEAM] power play and like always the Kings got screwed. But then the tenderness shined and the Kings fought through and got a power play or two of their own.

Overall, the Kings did really swell in game 5 on offense and defense and also in goal and the bench guys did a really good job of not getting cut by skates on shift changes. The Corsi and Fenwick numbers were really good too maybe (Some felt that TurdDAWG69 didn't have enough stats in his recap so these advanced stats should make those people happy?). There were some goals scored and some really good saves by Quick and some by the [OPPOSING TEAM] goalies in the game. Is this the game that Bernier tried to fight the other turd of a goalie but the other goalie was too scared? Probably, and that was funny and just shows how much grit and toughness the Kings have but also the tenderness again.

Game 5's are really special and memorable because many times when one team loses it means they have lost the whole thing! And this one was probably no different. This is because you have to win 4 games and sometimes the [OPPOSING TEAM] wins one of the first games and game 5 is a clincher (As they say in the business).
All in all it was a really good game and many people enjoyed it at the arena or from their home or place of business. Except for the other team and their fans because THE KINGS WON THE GAME I AM PRETTY SURE, GOOOOOO KINGS!*!!!
