Dos Anjos talks about having been in the United States for a full year, after moving from Brazil; he feels that the training in the states has been a big benefit to him. Dos Anjos feels that the training is worse than the fight, as he trains with the best fighters in the world everyday at Kings MMA, Black House MMA and Churchboyz Wrestling Team.. Dos Anjos trains as hard as he can everyday in training, so the fight will not be hard for him. Having already won Submission of the night and Fight of the night awards inside of the octagon, Rafael now is determined to win the knockout of the night bonus in his next fight vs Dunham. In the history of the UFC, there has never been a Brazilian lightweight champion; which has become the goal for Dos Anjos. Rafael Dos Anjos looks to take one step closer to title contention on May 18th against Evan Dunham.
