I'll be in attendance at tonight's Preds/Ducks game, thanks to the mystical magic of fire cupping!
Top 3 Sleek rumors overheard at the NHL draft -- in a band called Sleek and the Sleestack's -- it takes Sleek 20 minutes to watch 60 minutes -- is more interesting than the most interesting man in the world, but prefers Pacifico to Dos Equis.
Earl Sleek tells the story of his NHL Entry Draft Day One, as probably a blogger who didn't belong, but he had fun nonetheless. Go Draft.
Chicago Blackhawks (16-5-2, 2nd in west) at Anaheim Ducks (9-11-3, 14th in west), 1 pmIn case you didn't eat enough bird yesterday, Second City Hockey -- Hawks and Anaheim Calling -- Ducks. [...
BoC Gameday -- SBN Interactive: Drinking with Spade & Plank tonight! First-place Sharks, last-place Ducks -- kind of reminds me of last spring.
One of my Row B pals decided to take an "unjustifiably upbeat Sleek" shot from last night's awful opener. He shot the picture from the back to preserve my internet aura of mystery, but I'll admit I was posing for the shot. It's true, though -- I did have a pretty swell time despite the fact that the Ducks didn't show up. Plank was a great Row B guest -- didn't kick us when he could have, and we all had a good batch of cynical fun. Good thing it was only Game One -- easy enough to laugh off a shitty loss when there's 81 more chances to get it right. As a bonus in the picture, I believe the blurry dude to the right of my elbow is that very same Mr. Plank, proudly sporting his Pavelski jersey. Now that's some SB Nation networking, right there. Upbeat Sleek says: "Go Ducks."
