Syracuse is #1 in both the media and coaches' polls, receiving 13 votes in the media poll and 6 in the coaches. And as for the Big East "dumbing down" our schedule? We're 3-1 against the top 5 in the media poll (the coaches put Denver at #6 and Maryland at #5) and 7-1 against the top 10 in both polls.
We're number 20 in the AP and coaches poll. BCS is released later tonight.
Nebraska is tied at 25th with North Carolina.
Not bad. But let's be honest, folks, this top-25 sucks. Seriously. Arizona? BYU? Wisconsin? Cal? Virginia Tech? You know we're having a season of parody when those teams are cracking the top-25 this late in the season with some embarrassing losses.

The Associated Press Poll, the USA Today Coaches Poll and the Harris Poll all agree - Alabama remains Number Three.

But outside of the top three slots there is a lot of shakeup in both the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches polls. In addition, Bama also occupies the third slot in the first edition of the Harris Poll. The Harris and USA Today indexes are combined with a computer component in the BCS points system.
