"The one big memory I have is when I was four years old and going to my first Vancouver Canucks game,'' he said. "They were playing the Atlanta Flames and I remember sitting up in the nosebleeds and I knew then I wanted to be a hockey player.
"And I thank God for blessing me with the skill and the ability to achieve my goals of becoming an NHL hockey player."
