Former Wildcat Nick Hundley had some strong words about the impending return of fellow Padres catcher Yasmani Grandal, who was suspended 50 games for performance-enhancing substances. "You want to talk about a guy who is unproven and had a good couple months on steroids, go ahead," Hundley told the San Diego Union-Times' Kevin Acee.
What does the future hold for Women's MMA? Even with the upcoming fight between Rousey & Tate can they overcome the steroid debacle?
I don't think we have any reason to think we have juiced out players but you never know. This could be a HUGE problem across the NFL. Linemen, LBs, WRs, RBs ect..... I think that the testing won't start till this upcoming offseason though and we'll just have to deal with it when the time comes.
i'm sure there are many intelligent, well reasoning baseball fans that find steroids a bigger deal than me, but does anyone else actually believe this? "There is not another American sport where so many of the elite have been disgraced. Nothing comes close to this. Not Pete Rose, not the Black Sox, not baseball's drug trials of the 1980s, not the college basketball scandals of the 1950s." Throwing a world series is one thing, but giving round about answers in front of a grand jury that eventually do get answered directly is a sign of the MLB apocolypse. um, what? more on the verdict from Criag Calcaterra
Fight Opinion has it.
He doesn't necessarily say anything about steroids but he does say this: "@danawhite thanks for the call and your support it means the world to my family and I." Looks like they are formulating a strategy as to what they want to say. Can't wait to hear what will be coming out of everyone's mouth. He also made a comment about Roy Nelson and the shit he was talking about Carwin: "I love Roy Nelson trying to elevate his status by talking smacks. Hopefully he is doing so on a treadmil. Some have rolls he has a bakery." I love it. Any more news becomes available and we'll be posting it.
Money lines: "He had a pre-existing medical condition (involving an enlarged pituitary gland) that was consistent with the natural production of hCG in males," Steinberg said. "They came out in the hearing, and they were documented. "We learned that he had a particular medical condition that was consistent with natural production in the body of this banned substance. We felt with the low levels at which it tested was also consistent with natural production." Wow. h/t: Steph via Twitter
While they don't mention any names of course the implication that the club is juicing is quite interesting.
