Sharks Postgame: Rolling on Shabbos

Although it was close at times, the Sharks started swarming in the third and the Avalanche were crushed. A couple of empty-net goals ruined my perfect prediction of a 3-2 game. Once again the whole team played well, although it hurts to see Marleau miss so many great chances. Joe Pavelski is a god who should be given the captain C right NOW.

Speaking of Pavelski, RudyKelly doesn't appreciate Randy Hahn's attempts to make The Big Pavelski into Joe's official nickname. Rudy's just a bitter asshole - what does everyone else think? What is the best Pavelski nickname?

This was a great series from the Sharks, and the impressive physical play, all-around team effort, balanced scoring, and mental determination makes me feel good about the next round.
