Colorado Avalanche (28-38-8) at Anaheim Ducks (42-28-5), 7 pm
Mile High Hockey and Anaheim Calling -- better late than Denver.
Ugh -- the day job has me feeling a strong case of the Mondays today. As I'm not in terribly creative form this morning, I'll just fall back on a lazy recurring cartoon gag:
I'm not even sure if a snowman is an acceptable representation of the Avalanche, so just in case, here's a second bonus cartoon that stays truer to the Avalanche team name:
The Ducks are 3-0 against the Avs this season, and Colorado is the only western conference team that hasn't scored a power play goal against Anaheim this season. The Avs now sit ten games below .500; I don't know if this is a good thing or not, but this will be the last time this season where the Ducks play any team who is less than ten games above .500.
I should be around for game comments tonight; stop on by for the web-footed drama.
Prediction: Webbed foot by Fowler.
Go Ducks.
