Anaheim Calling and Fear The Fin -- two blogs that make our jobs waaaaaaay easier. :)

So there's a BoC game tonight, but it's only a small part of a bigger mechanism -- Battle of California fantasy playoffs start tonight! Here's your printable bracket -- let March Madness begin!

Since I'm the only blogger to make it into the only playoffs that'll matter this year, I guess it's up to me to congratulate myself and seven others -- nicely done, and good luck! Now a quick look at the matchups after the jump.

I've quickly come up with each team's "Fab 5" -- five players from the roster that Y! ranks the highest thus far into the season. I've listed the players along with their Y! rankings.

(1) Rule 64 vs. (8) Anzeholic Anonymous

Rule 64's Fab 5 -- Joffrey Lupul (25), Radim Vrbata (28), Chris Kunitz (65), Patrik Elias (74), Kevin Shattenkirk (78)

Anzeholic's Fab 5 -- Claude Giroux (6), Brian Elliott (10), Patrick Sharp (14), Anze Kopitar (29), Mike Smith (33)

(2) Sleek and Destroy vs. (7) Bearodactyls

Sleek's Fab 5 -- Jonathan Quick (8), Marian Hossa (15), John Tavares (19), Kari Lehtonen (44), Pavel Datsyuk (46)

Bearodactyl's Fab 5 -- Gabriel Landeskog (36), Patrice Bergeron (40), Jonathan Toews (54), Tomas Fleischmann (95), Carey Price (111)

(3) The Snuffle Bunnies vs. (6) Windy City Frostbite

Bunnies' Fab 5 -- Joe Pavelski (48), Jamie Benn (62), Teddy Purcell (98), Vincent Lecavalier (120), Roberto Luongo (122)

Frostbite's Fab 5 -- David Backes (22), Dustin Brown (73), Alexandre Burrows (76), Antti Niemi (89), Valtteri Filppula (100)

(4) Brain and Braun vs. (5) Certified Ninjas

B&B's Fab 5 -- Johan Franzen (35), Dan Boyle (70), Brad Marchand (72), Martin St. Louis (92), Jose Theodore (102)

Ninjas' Fab 5 -- Steven Stamkos (5), Alex Pietrangelo (64), T.J. Oshie (68), Corey Schneider (84), Martin Erat (90)

This certainly doesn't tell you the full story, really, but it should be enough to blindly fill out a bracket -- who do you think will win it? Place your bets, trash talk, or lament your near-misses in the comments.

Prediction: I should be around for game comments tonight. Thornton outscores Getzlaf, but Meg reaps zero fantasy benefits.

Go Bracket.
