The last time the Ducks faced the Sharks, Anaheim clearly outplayed San Jose, but still managed to lose in the shootout. This time around, I believe the Ducks' strategy is to play like shit but still manage to win.
The Sharks often manage to bring out the best in the Ducks, so they're fun games to watch not only because we get to beat them all of the god damn time, but it's simply good hockey.
But since we don't even bother talking about hockey on this stupid blog, Meg and I are doing this Battle of the Bands thing instead. We will both present songs from three bands we feel best represent our musical tastes. We have a poll setup so you can vote for which writer's bands were more entertaining. Check out both articles first, then vote down below.
And here we go, in no particular order...
VIOLENT FEMMES-Kiss Off
The Measure (SA) - Revisionist
Modest Mouse - Third Planet
(Bonus encore: The Lawrence Arms - "The Slowest Drink At The Saddest Bar On The Snowiest Day In The Greatest City")
I tried to get a decent cross section from various genres I like, so these songs don't compliment each other too well. I guess I'm just too eclectic and too cultured.
Anyway, even if you like Meg's music more, remember that he's a complete jackass and use that as a reason to vote for me anyway.
Prediction: Meg's shitty bands win, but the Sharks lose.
