No tucking way:

The NHL announced last week that uniform guidelines will be more heavily enforced during the 2013-14 season. According to the rules outlined by the league, players will no longer be allowed to tuck their jerseys into their pants, have their elbow pads exposed or cut their pants.

I GET this rule. I do. I understand its purpose. It's just...

Safety is so fucking lame sometimes, you know?

Anyways, here are the five funniest hockey-related tweets of the past week:

#5

This wasn't actually that amazing of a joke but considering the source it's practically a masterpiece.

#4

Adam Proteau makes an appearance at number 4 for the second week in a row.

#3

Whine Country didn't even put a dot in front of the @ in this one to make sure all of his followers could see it. That's just the kind of humble, understated human being he is trying to convince everyone that he is!

Seriously though the idea of tucking someone else's jersey to get them in trouble is insanely hilarious and I love it.

If @wingingitmotown ever learns about a joke format other than puns we're all in serious trouble.

#1 -The Fake Dan Ellis Memorial Tweet of the Week!

Maybe ESPN should just quit covering sports entirely? They really don't seem to be doing a very good job of it these days.

Remember, if you see a funny hockey tweet during the week and think it deserves a place in the top five, send it to me @MegalodonBOC .
