The NHL announced last week that uniform guidelines will be more heavily enforced during the 2013-14 season. According to the rules outlined by the league, players will no longer be allowed to tuck their jerseys into their pants, have their elbow pads exposed or cut their pants.
I GET this rule. I do. I understand its purpose. It's just...
Safety is so fucking lame sometimes, you know?
Anyways, here are the five funniest hockey-related tweets of the past week:

@cyclelikesedins who will be the first opponent to stealthily tuck his adversary's sweater? My money's on Ott.
— Whine Country (@whine_country) September 19, 2013
Whine Country didn't even put a dot in front of the @ in this one to make sure all of his followers could see it. That's just the kind of humble, understated human being he is trying to convince everyone that he is!
Seriously though the idea of tucking someone else's jersey to get them in trouble is insanely hilarious and I love it.

Poorly. RT @ESPN_NHL: #NHLrank: how did we rank the top goaltenders? http://t.co/7S0u3RoVVr

Maybe ESPN should just quit covering sports entirely? They really don't seem to be doing a very good job of it these days.
Remember, if you see a funny hockey tweet during the week and think it deserves a place in the top five, send it to me @MegalodonBOC .
