The Ducks' Second Week of Preseason

After the first week of preaseaon, the Ducks were three for four. Surely the team was able to ride out that momentum in to week two and end their remaining three exhibition games strong?

9/22 - Colorado Avalanche @ Anaheim Ducks

Final Score: Ducks 1, Avalanche 2

9/24 - Anaheim Ducks @ Los Angeles Kings

Final Score: Ducks 1, Kings 2

Crap.

9/28 - San Jose Sharks @ Anaheim Ducks

Final Score: Sharks 6, Ducks 5

Crap.

The only real highlights from the whole week came from the Sharks game, in which Andrew Cogliano scored this goal:

... and Antti Niemi gave up a mind-boggling 5 goals on 18 shots, because he's a pretty awful goalie.

I'd shrug this all off and say it's just the preseason, but I know that none of the injured Ducks are really doing any better so we're just as boned come our season opener on October 2nd.
