I was away from Battle of California for the past week, but I was still checking Twitter...which is great because the announcement of Team Canada's roster made for one of the funniest days in hockey twitter history.

Also the guy who yelled "How much time's left?" right before the announcer said "one minute remaining in the period." You are the best, dude.

From the Nazi jerseys to the way the team was announced on television and on Twitter, everything about Team Canada was a disaster...except the actual roster. That's pretty good, actually.


I'm not sure why it's okay and not offensive to make fun of the way French people talk, but the fact is that it is totally okay and totally hilarious.
