PS4 and the San Jose Sharks. Intelligent choices for intelligent people.

Greatness awaits.
Greatness awaits.

10 reasons the PS4 is better than the Xbox One or the Sharks are better than the Kings (or possibly both)

1. More affordable.

2. Infamous: Second Son seems like a lot of fun.

3. Brent Burns is awesome!

4. I hear the Xbox One spies on you all the time and passes all your secret information directly to the NSA.

5. I hear Dwight King spies on you while you sleep.

3. More interesting to look at.

8. The Kings never score and it's so boring oh my god.

9. Fuck Dustin Brown.

2. Better games.

10. Isn't Bill Gates rich enough?!

The Sharks have won six games in a row. The Kings, meanwhile, are riding a five-game losing streak. Los Angeles embarrassed themselves against the pathetic Ducks in back-to-back games, which is terrible, but most damning of all is the fact that the Kings couldn't even score one goal for their biggest fans in the world: the rock band KISS.

This will be the first game between the Sharks and Kings since Dustin Brown kidnapped Tomas Hertl and tied him to the railroad tracks, so it's possible the Sharks will be looking for revenge. Normally I would say that's a stupid thing and it's a distraction that's likely to get them into trouble, but as long as fucking shithead Mike Brown is on the team he might as well make himself useful and spear Dustin Brown through his eye-socket and out the back of his oddly-shaped head.

Man, what is it with Browns, huh?

This game between the Sharks and the Kings is also important because, as the season goes on, the likelihood of these two teams meeting in the first round of the playoffs grows and grows. The new playoff format is quite stupid, but it's too late to change it now, so there's an excellent chance one of the best teams in the league will be eliminated in the opening round because of simple idiocy.

Unless, of course, the Sharks can pass the Ducks. Then the Ducks and Kings can finally have their playoff match-up, and we can get a seven-game series full of games like the one we saw on Saturday. And I'm sure we'd all love that...right?

Prediction: The Sharks win by default after all the Kings get red ringed and have to be sent back to their manufacturers to be repaired.

Video Gamery: My 30th-favorite video game is the Soul Calibur series of games. Whenever they make another proper installment in the series, you can guarantee the Playstation one will be better.
