Sharks Gameday: Show Me That Smile Again

After a week of watching the Sharks play hockey against bad teams, we finally get to see a good opponent again! The New York Islanders are on the rise and super fun to watch so far this season. They're probably my favorite New York hockey team considering everything about the Rangers is annoying and everything about the Sabres is depressing. You've won my heart, Isles! My distain for the other New York teams isn't why I like the Isles though, it's mostly because of Long Island!

Long Island is a really great place from what I understand about pop culture. You see, I've been to Long Island but I was a kid and I didn't appreciate it which raises the question "why do parents spend that money to take their kids to cool places when their kids don't fucking care?" ...the world may never know. Anyway, let's talk about the wonderful things that have to do with Long Island!

The Sharks played well....for twenty minutes the other night. I feel like playing at home at the normal start time should help a tad, but what do I know? Very little. Anyway, Sharks win 3-2. Goals from Tommy Wingels, Joe Pavelski, and Brent Burns.
