Another 90s cartoon based showdown

You know what was a great show? Ren and Stimpy. Then it got brought back and it sucked. Sort of like the Kings lately.

Oh. I guess I am supposed to be saying Stimpy is better than Ren. Listen, if you have ever seen the show, it's clear that Stimpy is comedy lifeblood. Ren is just there to get harassed endlessly by Stimpy. He will yell and scream and try to do everything in his power to convince Stimpy, himself, and anyone else who happens to be around that he is awesome. But it's a farce. If he was so great he'd stop whining about being stuck with Stimpy and leave. He can't. He knows he is nothing without Stimpy there to prop him up and make him dance to the "Happy Happy Joy Joy" song. He'll have you believe he hates it, though it's all he has.

Sort of like the Ducks. They will say they are a legitimate franchise who stands apart from the Kings, yet they need Los Angeles. The Kings and Stimpy could move on, but they just love making life miserable for their closest neighbor. Examine this game seven footage from the playoffs last year:

Plus, the face of the Kings' franchise is essentially Stimpy. All you have to do is watch Dustin Brown take one shift, and it's evident he is a student of the Stimp. Take a look at the everyday life of Mr. Brown.

And with a special appearance by Logan Couture, too.

preview 11/12

The Kings defense took another hit with Alec Martinez having to have surgery on his finger. But fear not! Robyn Regehr is back. Thank god I am missing the entirety of this game.

Prediction: Regehr hat trick. Kings win 3-2.
