Battle of California Comments of the Week (Week 10)

New, 6 comments

A look at last week's best reader comments, as voted by readers. Comments from 12/7/2014-12/13/2014.

This is a reoccurring weekly feature that awards the "El Burrito de la Victoria" trophy to the comments with the most amount of reader "recommendations" from the prior week. All recommendations were tallied the morning this feature is posted. With any luck, this will encourage you to not only comment more often, but to be funnier.

We had slightly more comments than the previous two dismal weeks we did this, so that makes this job a tad bit more enjoyable. I think the Thanksgiving holiday lag is over, just in time to start the upcoming Christmas holiday lag! Hooray!

Let's see what you idiots thought was worth spotlighting this week...

Comments of the Week
12/7/2014-12/13/2014

The Best

In reply to a guest post attacking the Minnesota Wild, JJ points out that it all comes a little to close to a cardinal sin...

This seems like a backhanded endorsement of the Dallas Stars

Honorable Mentions

Here are some other comments you seemed to enjoy...

In reply to Dunn being coerced to watch Frozen:

but every girl I have talked to has tried to get me to watch it.

So, Dunn’s restraining order at San Clemente Elementary School has been lifted? Congratulations!

A lot of folks don't like Evander Kane because they're racist, but it's not okay to talk about it...

We made a few folks mad today

"No homo" is not something smart people say, but maybe, just maybe...

maybe he just means "no homogenized milk" because he likes living dangerously.

or...

It’s actually the abbreviation of his lawyer’s firm, Norris, Howard, & Morgan #NoHoMo

The Worst

As chosen by me, arbitrarily...

Calgary and Edmonton were great. I also went to Banff and it was absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend.

Look at this jerk trying to convince us that Alberta isn't an unlivable shithole. More like stace_disgrace.

Thanks for playing, jerks.
