If you donate fifty dollars or more to the charity Ryan Lambert works with he'll write whatever you want about hockey. I'm not sure what the charity is, I think it's about giving poor children extra homework or something. You can go check it out for yourself here.

Anyways, I donated and had Mr. Lambert write about why California hockey is the best. He wrote it and it is very nice. I didn't even ask him specifically to make fun of the Ducks, but he did it!

It opens thusly:

If there’s one state that represents the single greatest threat to the hockey world when it comes to capturing the Stanley Cup, it is the one that’s hot and sunny but where people actually also go to games a lot.

Sharks Gameday

Prediction: The Blue Jackets probably still suck, right? It's so hard to keep track of these obscure Eastern conference teams. Sharks win 8-2 with goals from Wingels and Pavelski.

Video Gamery: My 16th-favorite video game is Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. The whole series was good, but I was especially fond of the one that had Jango Fett as a secret character. With the low-gravity cheat you could repeatedly do a special trick in the air, then use his rocket boost to get higher in the air again before landing, and basically just repeat that forever if you were fast enough. It was amazing.
