Sharks Gameday: Toejam and Earl

Jammin!

Great stuff, good job.
Great stuff, good job.

YES you fuckers.

Listen to that god damn music! Shit yes.

I don't care about the stupid trade deadline. I don't care that the Sharks didn't do anything. I don't care that they lost to the Hurricanes. I don't care that those bastard Kings got Marian Gaborik for practically nothing.

All I care about is this music.

There are 19 games left in the season for the Sharks. A good portion of those are against crappy teams like the Flames, Oilers, and Ducks so I should be feeling optimistic, but I'm not so sure. There are still quite a few points separating the Sharks from their rightful place at the top of the division, and getting that top Pacific seed has become even more important now that the Kings have added Gaborik...

Sorry, my bad, I started caring about hockey there for a minute. I know what will fix that problem...

Oh hell yeah, that's better.

The Sharks were inactive at the deadline, which was exactly what I predicted they would do. Of the moves that WERE made, my favorite was probably the one that sent Tim Thomas to the Dallas Stars, because that's hilarious. It would really be convenient for me if all the assholes in the league would get traded to the Stars at the same time, because I often lose track and then all of a sudden there's Steve Ott playing for the Blues and I'm both surprised AND irritated at the same time.

Anyways...

The SB Nation box scores are still broken, so I can't feature that for the Sharks' game against the Penguins.

Guess how much of a shit I give about that?

Here's a hint: it isn't very much.

Prediction: Sharks win 4-1 in extremely funky fashion worth of Toejam and Earl.

Video Gamery: My 19th-favorite video game is Toejam and Earl. I loved the hell out of both the first and second games in the series, and played them to death.

Listen to that song all the way through, get it stuck in your head for the rest of the day, then thank me tomorrow.
