Sharks Gameday: Meaningless games, meaningless life

Without the Pacific Division championship, what's the point of continuing to draw breath?

I just...
I just...
Doug Pensinger

I was so certain. So full of confidence.

Without another Pacific Division Champion banner to festoon the rafters of the SAPHP Center Pavilion or Whatever, how can I possibly go on living?

I really like banners, you guys.

The stupid Ducks beat the Sharks and so the Sharks are guaranteed to finish second in the division. How humiliating.

Where can I look for comfort in this cold and heartless world?

I can take a little solace in the fact that the Ducks will probably lose to the Wild in the first round...but that's so expected I'm almost bored by it already.

Another source of dim joy is the #PerryOriginStories Twitter fun from Wednesday night. That was pretty good...I guess.

Prediction: Tonight the Sharks are playing the Avalanche, and it doesn't matter at all. The game can't change what has happened. The Sharks will not be the 2014 Pacific Division champions.

Sigh.

Is there nothing on Earth that can make me happy anymore?

Video Gamery: Oh hell yeah:

My 2nd-favorite video game is Shining Force 1 and 2, and fuck you I don't care if you've never heard of it. These games were amazing, and I've spent the rest of my life trying to find other RPGs that do tactical battles as well as these Genesis games.

Come back tomorrow for the final Sharks gameday of the season and I'll reveal my all-time-favorite video game.

And screw the stupid Ducks.
