Anaheim Ducks Playoffs: The Rebeardening

It's that time of year where we once again pretend that a team's success is tied to our ability to grow facial hair! Finally, a hockey skill I can excel at.

You may recall during last year's postseason I kicked off the Anaheim Ducks' playoff series against Detroit by discussing my playoff beard. I already had quite the beard going in to the playoffs, and decided to build on top of that existing beard.

Since that strategy didn't work well at all last year, this year I'm starting fresh, the way the hockey gods intended. Behold the beauty of a clean-shaven Jer, ready to propel Anaheim to victory:

The Ducks/Stars Regular Season Series in Review

After somebody showed the NHL higher-ups a map of the US, the red-faced executives made sure that the 2013-14 season saw the Stars leave Pacific Division to join the Central Division. Oddly enough, the Stars essentially find themselves right back in the Pacific Division for playoff purposes, as a wild card. Let's take a look at how their series with the Ducks went this season...
