During the All-Star break, the writers here at Battle of California wanted to take a break as well. In order to prevent our site from becoming a barron wasteland, we asked our readers to step in and do our work for us, in the form of "FanPosts."
It actually worked out rather well. Although there was some predictable, intentional garbage, there was a lot of fun pieces as well! The participation level was perfect. I feared two extremes; either virtually no one would post anything, or blogs like Pension Plan Puppets and Winging it in Motown would invade and there would be an unmanageable mount of submissions. Instead, neither happened and it was a pretty great experience.
Good work, folks!

Good Job, Everyone.
Thanks for submitting stories. We enjoyed reading them, and we promise to start paying more attention to our FanPost and FanShot sections. If you ever submit something to use, why not shoot us a note on twitter to ensure we see it, just in case? Our Fan section is easy to overlook.
My personal favoirte FanPost submitted was the Seals Gameday post. But Mordecai was a close second.

Prediction
The Ducks don't want to play, so they have a bunch of their fans play instead. It's a big success.
