Ducks Gameday: Oh, We're Doing This Again?

New, 5 comments

Why bother? Avalanche @ Ducks.

Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

I misread our elaborate Battle of California schedule (magic marker on cocktail napkins) and it turns out I'm supposed to write this gameday post, not Cory like I thought. Shit.

At the time of this writing, Cory is 21 years old and one day and hungover as shit, or he has drank himself to death. We're not sure, because the local police said that we exhausted all of our welfare check-ins (on Dunn, of course) and they wouldn't send anyone out to see how he's doing. So, hope you're feeling better soon or RIP, which ever applies, Cory.

I, on the other hand, spent the better part of the day having a non-hockey-related anxiety attack, so you can see why I'm not in much of a mood to write anything for you ungrateful schmucks. So instead, I'm just going to watch this stupid hockey game that will give me more anxiety, but at least it's just over a stupid game and not the mounting pressure of my life.

Gameday

Inspirational Music

To take up space in my gameday posts this season, so that I don't have to write so much, you'll be getting a glimpse of my playlist while I write this garbage.

Today I'm listening to: Defiance, Ohio - "Anxious and Worrying"
