If you're like me, you have a hell of a hangover right now. You probably also forgot/don't care that the Kings have a game today. I was originally thinking of a decent post, but for Halloween weekend and an afternoon game? Not happening. Instead, here's last years Halloween gameday post. It's rather interesting to note that the Kings had a six game winning streak in October last year too. This is a great sign seeing how well last season went.
Boy do I miss Dwight King. Robyn Regehr too. The MS Paint joy those two brought me was unparalleled. Lucic's face is too much of a mess to work with as cropping pictures around his nose is too time consuming. I don't know what I was trying to do with the Predator logo here, but I'm sticking with it. It sort of looks like the old Buffa-Slug logo the Sabres had back in the day.
Oh yeah, the Kings.
They are currently riding high, if you can call eeking out wins against Edmonton and Winnipeg "riding high". Beating up on Carolina and Colorado doesn't really count. However, now they have an afternoon game, which they are notoriously awful in, against Nashville, who they are also notoriously awful against. The Predators are just one of those teams you sort of forget about and are actually halfway decent. I don't know about you, but I totally forgot they were even in the playoffs last year.
Anyways, this game has "problem" written all over it for the Kings. My recommendation is to have plenty of liquor on standby for yourself. Godspeed, everyone.
Prediction: Kings give up three early goals, tie the game, then concede a goal in the last minute, losing 3-4.
