Hockey has been pretty sad and boring this year for Ducks fans (a.k.a. me), so I've filled my life with other things like actually doing work for school which, as it turns out, is a good idea. I almost forgot I had to write this post, so I'm doing it now at 2:00 a.m. from my phone while laying on my bed fearing that I'll miss my alarm and subsequently the class I have tomorrow morning in which I must turn in a term paper.
It's rivalry week here at UCLA, and like the Ducks' opponent today, the Bruins' rival is red and from a weird part of town. Almost identical to the Ducks, I expect no less from them than to defeat a mediocre division team to clinch an irrelevant title (beating USC on Saturday winning Pac-12 South), only to lose in a championship game to a much better opponent (Stanford in the Pac-12 championship game). Or they could just never win again like this year's Ducks. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
