As evidenced by the main photo of this article, the Canadian dollar has fallen dramatically in value. Clearly this is in reaction to the plummeting value of first-round draft pick Connor McDavid. Our very own Ryan Dunn analyzed the bust in his Tuesday column you can read here. Today we hope to lighten the mood with a look back on this Throwback Thursday at other things that, like the Oilers, haven't been relevant since the 1990s. (These are in no particular order)
1. America Online (AOL)
2. Floppy Disks
3. Skechers
4. Ash Ketchum
5. Beanie Babies
6. Scrunchies
7. The Canadian Dollar AKA the Loonie
8. The Edmonton Oilers
Why yes, that is Ryan Smyth.
